His Doctor of Ministry was received from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Prior to coming to this church, Dr. Bybee pastored Presbyterian churches in Illinois, Texas, and Kansas. He also did mission work overseas. His wife, Heidi, and two daughters are actively involved in the ministry of the church.

He sang at the Presley Theater in Branson, Missouri, for several years in the 90’s and also worked with a record company in Nashville before he returned to NAU to continue his education. Besides singing, he also enjoys playing the guitar and trumpet.
