We Are a Dynamic ECO Church

Our Mission Statement:   Lifting up Jesus Christ from beautiful Lake Havasu City, we are a family of believers proclaiming the astonishing message of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. With joy in Christ and under the authority of God’s Word, we encourage one another to grow in intimate fellowship with Christ, to honor our Lord through our personal lifestyles, to build healthy relationships, to support each other through prayer, to touch others with the compassion of our Lord Jesus and to take the initiative in witnessing for Christ.

Luke 19:17

In the western world we are seeing a rise in secularism (living our lives apart or void of any Bible based, Christian influence). Many denominations have succumbed to a semi-secular form of Christianity. “They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly.” 2 Tim. 3:5.  We at Community Presbyterian Church seek to hold fast to the historic Christian faith.  Not limited to the following points; we desire to:

1.  Live under the absolute Lordship of Jesus Christ, Who is the Only means of salvation (Philippians 2:9-11; John 14:6)

 2.  Live according to loving and holy Christian values.  First we desire to be  Christ-like in our daily walk exhibiting love, joy, kindness, grace, compassion, humility, generosity, forgiveness, sacrifice, prayerfulness, comforting the hurting and always being ready to share the Good News, while standing firm in our rejection of the values of the sinful, fallen world.  A few examples are: honoring the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, rejecting all sexual lifestyles outside of Christian marriage, calling people to healthy living and away from non-medical drug use, protecting the life of the unborn; and calling the lost, the ungodly and/or those trapped in non-Christian false religions to new beginnings and saving faith in Christ Jesus (Matthew 5:14-16,  1 John 2:15-17, John 8:1-11, Hebrews 12:1-2, Luke 9:23).

 3.  Live under the final authority in all of Christian living God’s Word, the Bible and being informed by the historic confessions.  (II Timothy 3:14-17; Psalm 119:105).
